Gratitude
I am indebted to the scholar, writer, orator, Late Vidyavachaspathi Bannanje Govindachaarya (1936 – 2020), whose discourses have had an indelible impact on my understanding of God and spirituality.
My heartfelt thanks to my quasi- mother and mentor Shanthalakshmi, also my Kannada consultant; and her erudite daughter, a friend and the go-to person for all scriptural doubts.
I am grateful to my mother and grandmother for having spoken to me about spiritual concepts which were way beyond the grasp of a little girl, in my childhood. Like the clay soldiers, created by a young Shalivahana and drowned in a well, which were said to have come to life when unexpected hordes of people rallied around and fought on his side in his adulthood; the deeply embedded but hitherto semi-forgotten concepts, make the books I now read seem like childhood friends with whom I have renewed contact.

I am thankful to my tech-wizard cousin Sumanth Muralidhar for volunteering with his expertise, and hand-holding us all throughout the development of this website, right from the conceptualisation and domain purchase, up to the launch.
