Do the tasks earmarked for you, and accept the fruit of the effort
Never forget the lotus feet of Hari, he is supreme, he is our master,
He is our refuge, he alone is everyone’s parent.
He is superior to the most superior, he is the ultimate ‘Purusha’
Without this awareness, everything is futile
Enough of useless worries and worldly matters
Place your heart at the feet of Hari.
When a good deed performed, without even thinking of Hari
Destroys heaps and piles of sins
A good deed performed while thinking of Hari
Assuredly grants one, ultimate bliss
Entertain no doubt about this and plunge into your duty.
Raising both my hands, I declare
Listen to my truthful words
There is no one superior to Hari
There is no one equal to Hari
He is the best among all beings.
If Hari was not superior to all others
How could this world be considered as under his control?
If the world is not under his control
Then why is it that joy and prosperity are not for the asking?
Actions, ignorance, traits, desire, time... are Non-living objects; none of these control the world Hari alone is the master of both objects and life-forms
So declare the Vedas!
‘This world is symbolic and unreal’
Is not the doctrine of Veda Vyaasa
To dispel every doubt, Hari has himself said that
The jeevas are several, but Hari is the supreme lord of all.
Every muktha-jeeva including Bramha
Will reach the feet of Hari
And will enjoy varying degrees of bliss
According to one’s capacity and nature
This is the gospel truth!
The remembrance of the all- pervasive lord
Is beyond the reach of polluted minds
The grace of Hari, who has no beginning,
Is as pure and comforting as the warmth of the rising sun
To the vile hearts that do not get honed
By sharp words of admonishment
He uses his churning rod to destroy
Such well-entrenched evil ones
Hari dispels the darkness of the mind and heart
Bow to such a lord, who has no limit.
The creator of this world Bramha, various devathes including Rudra
Are created, nurtured and finally destroyed
By him, who grants true salvation to those who surrender to him with devotion.
This personification of infinite divine attributes
The lord of Ramaa devi
Let alone someone being superior to him
Even an equal, has never ever existed
And will never ever exist.
The powerful personification of joy
Is worshipped by one and all The one who has no birth or death
Protect us forever!
The Vedas describe the blissful form of the lord who sleeps on the cosmic waters
The one who has no need for sleep, he who is the cause of creation
Not a blade of grass moves without his permission
He is hailed as the epitome of knowledge.
He is the one who performs the astounding act
Of innumerable creations through his boundless power
To realise the greatness of this Hari
Is beyond the capacity of ordinary mortals.
