O personification of joy, you bear the weight of land and water
O Shridhara, you decorate the sky with the clouds
Hrishikesha, you are the master of happiness, strength and knowledge
I bow to the one who is the lord of all and superior to everyone
The one with the lovely hair.

You assume various forms to bear the weighty worlds
You give birth to every auspicious being, beginning with your lotus-navel
You provide eternal bliss to enlightened souls
You bear the 14 worlds externally and internally (during deluge)
I bow to Daamodara, the highest among the celestials.
